sql server 2012 enterprise has a max server memory setting of 152400 howver we are seeing usage according to task manager of 214463 and as a result we have 0 MB free physical memory.
My understanding is that in 2012 the max memeory setting includes all usage by sql server and not just the buffer pool, so what is using this extra memory and how can we control it.
