Performance analysis

Hi Experts

I was investigating some performance problem. My investigation concluded with IO subsystem+memory issue. But actual problem turned out to be an issue with NIC.

The physical is only connecting to the SAN using 1 x 1Gig NIC it should be using 3 x 1Gig NIC.
So currently all the iSCSi traffic seems to be flowing down 1 link

PAGEIOLATCH_SH and Low ple led me to conclude on IO and memory issue

The server in question is an OLAP server, its a transnational subscriber as well

Server spec

Windows 2008 ent x64 on hyper-v, 32 GB

SQL server 2008 r2 ent x64 with min memory 28500 mb max 30500MB

Storage: SAN,drives are pass through onto the SAN

db size: 443 gb ,

main table

Rows : 270178960

Data : 66116224 KB

index :339679744 KB

At the time of analysis all active spid's were showing PAGEIOLATCH_SH wait.

What I am trying to understand is why SQL Wait or Perfomon counters did show any network related issue

please see the screenshots bellow
