I have a clustered active-active instance on sql 2008 SP3 CU7 where I cannot see error logs since a few months ago and I get the following error when I attempt to look at the sql agent properties in SSMS: "Cannot show requested dialog.
Property ErrorLogFile is not available for Job server [servername]. This property may not exist for this object, or may not be retrievable due to insufficientaccess rights". Logging onto the server itself with local admin credentials does
not solve the issue so I don't think it is a rights issue. I am also having jobs not run during their scheduled times. Sometimes I can solve the issue by dropping and recreating the job. Any ideas what may be happening?
