I need help.. I have a Dell R900 with 4xquad core processors, and 132 gigs of ram in it. Its been working fantastic until recently my database size has exploaded to now 200 gigs.
SQL is currently using up about 95% of the ram on the server, and while I plan to buy more memory for it, (i'll probably buy 4x8 gig chips) I cant do anything for a few weeks.
Any advice on how to optimize the server so it can function. We're accessing the database using Access front end, (yeah, not a choice at the moment), and I'm getting ODBC errors constantly, and thats not limited to just access because when I try doing anything in SQL, its extremely slow.
