Log shipping Backup job of database doesnt complete for ever.It is scheduled for every 15 mins. I have to restart the server and start the job again to make it successful. The view history of the job says "Backing up transaction log". The target location to which the backup file is dumped has enough space on it. All day long the jobs will be successful but at 11.30 PM, the job takes long time to complete, sometimes it takes 8 hours or sometimes it will not complete even for 5 days and I have to restart the server. Other than this the server is performing well.
Can anyone help me on this. I guess there is some I\o issue writing backup file to the disk.
