Would it be possible to enable the /3GB switch in boot.ini to allow applications to use up to 3GB of memory?

computer:Intel(R) Xenon(R) CPU E7-2870 @2.40GHz 2.40GHZ,4GB of RAM Physical address Extension.

Product:Microsoft SQL Server Standard Edition

Operating system:Microsoft Windows NT 5.2 (3790)

platform:NT INTEL X86

Would it be possible to enable the /3GB switch in boot.ini to allow applications to use up to 3GB of memory?
