SOLUTION TO MINIMIZE TEMP DB

HI GUYS...

We are working on sql server 2005 and the problem is with the temp db,it is frequntly becoming full and forcing us to restart the srever every time when it is full.Can anybody tell me about exact causes of temp db filling and proper solutions to resolve it.
